oh man. spring turned to summer turned 112 degrees today in vegas!

i was aching to get out and shoot something fun, so like i used to troll parks and river trails for wild art in oregon, in my home here in vegas i hit the planet hollywood pool for a world record attempt to break the largest shower record. i knew tommy lee and ludacris were supposed to be there but that was about it.

turned out the whole stunt was part of a new discovery network (planet green) show called “battleground earth.” the first season pits two teams against one another, as it were, one led by tommy lee and the other, by ludacris.

this was definitely a made for tv event but not a bad way to spend the afternoon, with water housing and sun screen in full force. the filming crew was super chill and it’s always fun to see how these reality shows are actually shot. the first episode is supposed to air on some channel i don’t get in mid-june. oh, and they did the break the world record, confirmed live by a guinness representative.
