20080609 think tanking

while working on my site recently i noticed a lot of traffic coming from the think tank photo site. things were busy busy trying to put the graffiti storm drains project to bed days before i left for mexico, so i just got around to looking into where the link is coming from……turns out the folks at think tank had selected my friend and vegas colleague, issac brekken’s picture of me from earlier this year as the company’s may photo of the month. go issac!

the pic was from a fun moment as i a walked back to the media corral in front of air force one after being local pool photographer for the president’s las vegas visit earlier this year. this was particularly funny to us since issac and i had made a number of bad, VERY dark photos of each other the night before as we stood on the tarmac for HOURS on death watch, waiting for the plane to arrive…..in the numbing cold, of course.

i sport one of the think tank belt systems most days but also use one of the airport security rollers. their gear is fantastic. practical designs, durable and aerodynamic. seriously, it’s totally worth the money. ok ok, </ end think tank plug. ;-)
