I have been trying, rather thinking about trying to get back to blogging for weeks, but alas, I’m apparently all or nothing at it. I keep wanting to post so much from the last month that now I don’t know where to start. So, in dire need to share again, may as well just start with today. My weekly photo column has been on a hiatus for a few months. I started back up last week and this is today’s….

Last year I covered the Las Vegas Marathon first person with a point and shoot and fist of notebook paper tucked into my water belt. This year I stayed bundled in a down jacket with my nice cameras and trusty bicycle. I shot the start and then rode the race along more than 15,000 runners down the strip as the sun came up. I’m not sure which experience was more fun. You can read the photo column and see an online gallery too.
